How is content added to this website?

  • Most information about this website is provided through formalized reports on youth mental health evidence-based practices. These include for example the Blue Menu of Evidence-Based Interventions from PracticeWise.

  • Additional information can be added through a nomination and review process. Interested contributors should ask themselves the following:

    • (1) is the information directly relevant to children’s mental health issues? (2) would the information potentially be useful to a parent or caregiver? (3) to what extent is this resource derived from highly controlled scientific studies, or at least a well-cited evidence-based practice resource? (4) is the primary focus of a suggested resource in line with questions 1-3?

    • If the answer is yes to all four of these questions, then suggested site content will be considered by the committee in charge of this website. Persons interested in adding site content should ask themselves these four questions before emailing DOH.CAMHD.comms@doh.hawaii.gov with their request.
